Although they had only met the day Kendall moved in, God quickly formed a friendship rooted in faith, hospitality, and shared purpose.
As they opened their home and invited women in, it became clear there was a desire for deeper, faith-centered friendship. Their first gathering took place in their home in Tempe, Arizona, where women came together to connect, pray, and experience genuine community.
That simple act of opening the door became the foundation of The Invitation. As Liv and Kendall later returned to their home states, the heart of The Invitation went with them. Women stepped forward to lead, gatherings continued, and what began in one living room grew into a community spanning multiple cities across the country.
The Invitation began in January 2024 when Liv and Kendall were living together in Arizona.
The First Invitation
What started as a small gathering of women seeking deeper community quickly revealed a shared longing. Young women across cities were craving meaningful friendship, spiritual encouragement, and a place where faith could be lived out together.
As gatherings grew and leaders stepped forward, The Invitation became a community carried by women who felt called to open their doors, create welcoming spaces, and invite others in. Today, The Invitation exists in cities across the country, united by the same heart. To cultivate Christ-centered community through friendship, faith, and belonging.
This story is still being written. Each gathering, each friendship, and each city reflects the power of women saying yes to connection and choosing to walk in faith together.
The Invitation began with a simple desire to create space for connection rooted in faith.

Why The Invitation Exists
Many young women desire deeper connection yet struggle to find it. Church can feel overwhelming. Social spaces can feel surface-level. Loneliness can quietly take root, even in faith-filled lives. The Invitation exists to create intentional environments where women are welcomed and known, build friendships grounded in Christ, grow spiritually alongside one another, and find encouragement through every season of life. We believe faith flourishes best when it is shared.
The Invitation lives through local chapters led by women who feel called to create Christ-centered community in their own cities. Each chapter hosts gatherings rooted in faith, friendship, and intentional connection, reflecting the heart of The Invitation while serving the women in their local community.
While every chapter looks a little different, they are all united by the same purpose. To create welcoming spaces where women can grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and experience genuine belonging. The Invitation is currently active in cities across the United States, with new chapters continuing to grow as women step forward to lead.
